Why was he receiving congratulations from Obama in 2008 when Obama wasn't President yet? Shades of Nixon ordering Kerry to Cambodia in 1968.
If he was born in 1898, he should be on the 1900 census.
I had a great-aunt who was born in 1898 but she died way back in 2002 when only 104. But she also lived in three centuries.
