I’m a Cruz supporter. While I agree with you (& Trump) on those three big issues, I can’t ignore that he’s mainly been a progressive democrat who has never been on the side of liberty-lovers & constitutionalists. I’m afraid he’s using the Republican Party the way Michael Bloomberg did in New York - a clear (or clearer) playing field to get the nomination, since it was pretty much locked up on the Dem side. I’m not sure we can trust him to bust up the federal gov’t which is what we desperately need to have happen. I’ll vote for him over Hillary, but I won’t support him in the primaries.
I support Cruz as well, but I seriously wonder if he could get anything done the way he has alienated himself from Republicans in the Senate. Don’t get me wrong, I have no problem with what he has done, and I even think his fight with Obama that led to the shut down did more good than bad. But I honestly think, if Cruz were president, you would finally see that eunuch McConnell develop a spine to prevent Cruz from realizing any political victories.
I worry that Trump is not serious. But if he is serious on the few issues listed above, he will be a very good, if not great president. We are not going to turn this mess around in an election cycle. The fix is going to be generational, and it is unrealistic to expect our candidate to be perfect.
My biggest worry. I supported Arnold (not going to try to spell his last name tonight) with the belief he would give conservatism a positive message, and look what a loser he turned out to be.
I’m sorry you are a loser, it must suck. But it is your own fault.
I wonder, if Trump is a “progressive Democrat”, what are Jeb, Christy, Kasich and many of the rest, Marxists??? LOL
I just realized, Cruz and Trump are the only two Republicans running that have vigorously pledged to protect our Second Amendment Rights. I could be mistaken, but I don’t remember any of the others bringing it up.
All I can say is, Best Election Season EVER.
