[VANITY] Superstorm Jonas.Blizzard From Hell Headed For DC Area.So This Is Global Warming?

Posted on 01/20/2016 5:26:19 PM PST by Cruz_West_Paul2016

By now we all are very aware of whats coming to the mid-atlantic states, especially in the D.C. area. Now wasn't it Obama and Kerry who have been complaining about what will happen soon with Global Warming and Global Climate change? Jonas is about to open a can of whoop ass in Virginia and the Tri-State region. So will John Kerry hold another Global Warming Summit/With Press taking questions in New York or DC next week?

They have not abandoned their post since the tomb was built.

Amazing story.

A few years ago, command told them they could take shelter during a hurricane and the soldiers refused, keeping watch.

He has been out of step his whole life, and to think what he has done to America is disgusting...

****************************************************************

You sure about that? I’m not convinced yet...I’ll believe it when I see it happen.

It’ll take Trump 2 years just to get the White House cleaned up if they do anything like Clinton did...I think they will...graffiti all over the place, some of it obscene, every W key missing on every keyboard, (3000 IBM keyboards, know what that cost us? They don’t use the $10 wally world specials) trash strewn everywhere, silverware and furnishings missing...Some of the W keys were super glued to the tops of doors so they wouldn’t shut...

I’ve seen posts from idiot youts with things like “they had to start naming winter storms because they are so much more intense than ever before”

Intense? What were the names of the Blizzard of 78 and Hurricane of 38?

El Nino is causing more water vapor to be in the atmosphere. The trade winds are weak. So the deep Pacific is cooling and blowing off heat. Combine that with a cooling trend going on since sun spots decreased. Theoritically it could be one of the worse they have ever seen in those areas. All over the planet, there are numerous snow fall records being broken, were it is snowing. Just realize the same people who are bringing in hundreds of thousands of Muslims into your country, also think the Earth is warming. They common thread is they are trying to kill us.

I was in MA during the Hurricane of 1938. I was young but I still remember the NOISE. Frightening.

It had a terrific name-—The Hurricane of 1938. :-)

Growing up all I heard was the misery of my parent's generation - the Depression, the Hurricane of 38, WWII, and the Worcester Tornado.

Then came Hurricane Carol. It knocked down two mighty Oaks and Maples between our house and the neighbor's. Loved looking out the window during the storm. Haven't see a storm like it since then (mid 1950's). The liberal meme is that we are experiencing more severe weather, yeah, sure.

Looks like their plan now is to stop the plunge protection team work and let the stock market crash. They could print whatever money they need to stop it. But they are not now. Once we are crashed, see Venezuela.....

The Blizzard of 1977 in Buffalo was worse.

I remember that in the news. 106 inches of snow is normal for upstate New York. You can't compare there to Boston. I remember one February traveling from Boston to Plattsburg. Crossing Lake Chaplain from Burlington was like an Arctic expedition.

Yes,they were tough times.

To make matters worse my father died of tuberculosis in February of 1938—the year of the hurricane.

When I got into adulthood,in the fifties, things were turning round nicely and we ended up being, what one author calls,The Lucky Generation. Education was affordable and jobs were plentiful.

We had 200.6 inches of snow that winter. On Jan 28th we had 100 mph winds, a temperature below zero and 26 inches of snow.

200.6" for the winter. Don't I recall correctly, one storm dumped 106"?

It did, but it wasn’t 1977. It was in the 2000’s, long after I moved.

It is just a normal winter storm. I think this has happened before.

Sure these kinds of storms have happened before and will certainly happen again but a Nor'easter (basically a hurricane with snow) for those of us in the Mid-Atlantic area is nothing to sneeze at and makes life around here anything but normal - at least for a couple of days ; )
