Orval Faubus’ father was a Eugene Victor Debs advocate: not too popular in AR. Orval though was idolized until c. 1970, when the late “Dandy Dale” Bumpers bumped him off politically.
Bumpers was simply another fraud who became attorney general, then governor then senator. One of the frauds skipped the senate and went straight to the white house.
