This is on a par with the Dan Rather bust. An alert Freeper noticed the flight plan, as I am sure you know. From that point on, it was nigh on impossible to keep a lid on the secret.

It worked out for the best, in my opinion, generating more publicity and 'buzz' than the original plan of unveiling it at the rally would have. And the actual endorsement at the rally itself will be like an afterburner kicking in, generating still more buzz and excitement, despite the eeyores, mobys and plants here where it all started.
