No signoff if you have a trust. Trusts have always been “inform CLEO” only. What has changed for trusts is each member of the trust must submit fingerprint cards and passport photos, just as an individual application has always had to do.

The “inform CLEO only” for individuals combined with the fingerprinting requirement for Trust members makes NFA Trusts less attractive.

Not obsolete, but much less attractive from an individual’s standpoint.

Thanks, but I have never had to submit fingerprints/photos for any new trust purchase.

Darnit. There was something that was a benefit of the Trust that flipped to advantage individual and disadvantage trust. Thought it was the CLEO crap. Anyway, it’s annoying that the CLEO gets notified on each NFA purchase.
