I can't speak for everyone but for me it was reading "Art of the Deal". His core beliefs are honesty in deal making. Deliver what is promised or nobody will trust you again. For him to flat out lie in order to make a deal goes against his character as seen in his books and his personal life. Nobody has ever said he's a cheat. He's a tough negotiator, he uses every legal tactic to his advantage but he's not a cheat.

I thought exactly the same when Cruz abandoned us to campaign for and vote to advance Obama’s Legacy TPA/TPP. There is no ideal conservative candidate in the race. Sorry.

Sorry Bristol, just because someone tells the truth about a potential action by your Mom does not mean they are slamming her.
No one, and I mean No one, gets to bend their principles to support a candidate for POTUS that is NOT a conservative, simply because they BELIEVE he can win, and not expect to get constructive (or otherwise) criticism.
As a confessed Christian your standards have to be driven first by a loyalty to Christ and family loyalty has to be below that first priority.
Actually, even though I believe that Sarah, if she endorses Trump, will have lowered her standards and I will be disappointed in her, Moonman62’s comment sucks.
