Because he still wanted to try his hand at baseball, he accepted an offer to go to sprig training with the Rockies in 2011 and the head coach released him from this scholarship. When baseball did not work out, he ended up spending his final year of NCAA eligibility at the University of Wisconsin. He went from there to Seattle where this QB who many said was too short to play in the NFL helped them win a Super Bowl!
