Friends, it's Sunday night again and time to relax. Warm up the tubes for another 4 hours of classic radio Americana.
Info *tonight's show will be available at the "Info" link starting tomorrow.
Official OTR blog of "The Big Broadcast" thread:
I saw what you wrote, but I thought that had to do with something Johnny Dollar did! Oh, wow! We’ll have to check that out! I did hear the weird music show intro and wondered what the deal was. I really didn’t know they did this live, because it would be so easy to voice track it instead.
I love the halls of ivy...and their chorus
The chorus is very nice.
I like murder by experts. Enjoy inner sanctum . Night Gina
Good night, Vision!
Oh, wow! Thanks for reminding us. Bless his heart! I’ve been on the radio and had to scramble like that for various reasons. It’s “crash and burn” territory, but he kept it together pretty well without totally losing it. Keith listened with me, and he said that Ed would’ve laughed at that. Poor Rob’s speech impediment is really hard to listen to. I wish he didn’t have it.
Yes, I understand your point, but I could hear the frantic fumbling when he was caught totally off-guard without a backup plan. He did okay, considering. I’ve been behind the mic in the live radio studio, and I know how quickly things can go south without warning. I really never knew that they do this show live. Maybe Ed did or didn’t do it live toward the end. Who knows?
