Trump is very shallow. He claims he knows so much about trade. Of course we have a trade deficit with China. We have a huge market in the U.S. for cheap goods imported from China.
The average annual income in China is $5,000. Tariffs and attempting to coerce a flooding of the Chines market with American made products, is not going to enable the consumers of China to buy our products.
Oh, the delusion and hypocrisy of Trumpettes is amazing. Trump insults and degrades people on a regular basis, mocks disabled people, and the Trumpettes applaud and cheer. Yet when the Cruz campaign points out Trump's own words, he is no longer "a nice guy". I thought what you people liked about Trump was that he wasn't a "nice guy", that when he was hit, he hit back hard. I guess that only applies to Trump, though, huh? You don't like it when Trump is the one getting hit.

I may not like it when Trump hits but that’s always been him, since the beginning of the campaign so you either accept it or move on.
With Cruz he acted like Mr. Nice Guy, wouldn’t harm a fly. He was above all that and I respected him for it.
Then he morphs into an angry, vindictive guy who’s slinging insults and lecturing the voters on what we should and shouldn’t find acceptable. Cruz was my 2nd choice but now he’s off the list.

It is the responsibility of Senators to know about and read bills for debate and discussion. Relying on someone’s word is only a way to pawn off responsibility for one’s own actions. There are also staff, whose jobs it is to do this and provide advice and consent.

Okay, so pointing out what Trump has said in the past using his own words makes Cruz an angry and vindictive person, and Trump's own words are insults to him. Makes perfect sense.

That's okay. Cruz is 2nd choice for a lot of people, and he should start picking them up as their first candidates drop out. Trump is not the 2nd choice for many who now prefer other candidates. And I doubt he was ever really your 2nd choice to begin with.
