I’ve been pro-Trump and pro-Cruz. Each have had their certain positives and negatives, which weighing together has tended to equal themselves out in my eyes.
But deep down, I’ve always had the expectation that Trump will come out and make some statement in the realm of social issues that will make it too unpalatable for me to eventually vote for him.
I left my ballot blank in 2012, the first time in my voting life in which I didn’t give a GOP nominee, big office or small, my vote. And it was due to Romney’s facillitation of faggot-marriage in his state as governor. I can leave my ballot blank again with great and even happier ease these days, now that I no longer feel invested in the future of this country.

He will. Actually he has made a bunch including beginning his campaign with the words ‘Sorry Conservatives” but his base ignore that because they like shiny objects.
Or most likely, they are moderates and for some reason, play at being conservative. Because one cannot be two things at once regardless of who they are.
