Cruz lied about Trump being ineligible because his mother was Scottish. IF HE IS THE CONSTITUTIONAL EXPERT he claims to be and so many here think he is, he DELIBERATELY misrepresented the FACTS. He knew Trump’s mother was from Scotland so I’m sure he knew she was a CITIZEN long before Trump was born. He tried to muddy the waters with a primary school debating tactic of turning the question by deflecting to another situation. Didn’t work with anyone who has ever debated anywhere, anytime. He lied, trying to protect himself.
Any ordinary thinking person also knows he lied when he said he “didn’t know” he was a Canadian citizen until 2013. A Harvard lawyer, Constitutional Expert, who knew he was born in Canada WOULD have KNOWN he was a Canadian Citizen. He tried (successfully) to hide it from the voters of Texas.
He lied about his vote on TPA and then tried to correct it with TPP.
How much more has he lied about?
You’d be the expert on lying with as much of it as you do. But you are so inept you can’t even do that right. I have to assume the ‘men’ you stood ‘toe to toe’ with were under the age of 3 and raised by feminists to cower.
In order to illustrate one bizarre misinterpretation, Cruz stated Trump would not be eligible either because of his mothers status. He didn't lie, he was trying to explain how a wrong interpretation could affect even Trump. The status of Cruz's mother as an American citizen is well documented and beyond question.

I'm an ordinary person and I don't think he lied about anything. I think he suspected he might have been granted Canadian citizenship and therefore possessed dual citizenship because he was born in Canada. Once confirmed as was the case, he renounced his Canadian citizenship in order avoid any doubt as to whether he was an American citizen. Remember the requirements for Canadian citizenship is in their Constitution and immigration laws, not ours. Did you expect him to be a expert in the Canadian Constitution and immigration laws as well?
He tried (successfully) to hide it from the voters of Texas.
You are really off-base here. He did no such thing. Informed Texans were aware he was an American citizen born in Canada. He met the all the qualifications required to run for the Senate and was elected in 2014. Even so, nobody except his opponents maybe, questioned his qualifications for the Senate as I can recall.
He lied about his vote on TPA and then tried to correct it with TPP.
Which version of the TPA are you referring to? He voted aye on the original TPA, and later nay when the House revised TPA was returned to the Senate. Remember when the Senate had to pass it to see the undisclosed (secret) information that had been added. Would you vote to pass something you could not read unless passed? Cruz did not flip/flop, the TPA was revised.
How much more has he lied about?
You tell me. It seems you are quick to condemn Senator Cruz without checking out the facts and lies on both sides of the issue. I hope your agenda is not to put down Cruz, but to evaluate all Republican candidates in a fair and equitable manner. Hopefully, you will choose the most conservative candidate. Best wishes.
