Cruz wants to replow old ground. I think TRUMP is up for that game. TRUMP can answer the charges as he already has.
TRUMP pleads, “GUILTY, AS CHARGED!” and then reasons why he did this or that and when and why he changed on this or that.

We can hear it again, Ted. We can hear it for the umpteenth time, if you want to go there. But, what is new, Ted, is that it’s you who is finally for the first time in your life, that is being vetted and exposed, on your own history, and it isn’t going to be any better against you, than your complaints against TRUMP.

There are LIVE videos, in living color, and with fine audio of Cruz speaking, in his own words, in the exact same terms that he accused Rubio of recommending, last night in the debate. “Pathways to legalization” is a phrase Cruz owns, to the same extent as Rubio, whom he tried to rail against.

Can’t wait for TRUMP to meet fire and crap bluster, with fire and crap bluster of his own. It will be a quite even match if Cruz really wants to start the smear contest.

The little squirrel is not in TEXAS anymore and the whole nation is awakening to his opportunistic shenanigans. Drip, drip, drip.

Iowa is about to drop him on his head in the next several days, so Cruz needs some kind of a strip-show starting in order to advance his “look-over-there” strategy, to avoid the coming avalanche of scrutiny he is about to enjoy from the national media, the GOPE, other opponents, and old Senate enemies.

Popcorn and butter, baby!

I don’t know. Teddy has the best favs/unfavs in all recent internals.
I think some underestimate Teddy. I don’t think it is just Iowa. Trump has had a big pass. I can’t wait to see the ads against DT.

Cruz also opens himself up to attack from the right because he has his own spotted past with gays/New York.

Cruz has at least THREE gay billionaire backers that date back to his Senate days... Do the people of Iowa know where Ted gets his money?

This whole thing feels like Ted’s people got his ear and are making him do this as they feel this is his only shot at beating Trump.

Trump doesn’t choose to talk about his religion which is perfectly normal for a Presbyterian. I’m a Presbyterian too and if someone asked me questions and tried to pry into my religion, I would tell them to mind their own business. Trump is more polite, he demurs from discussion on religion. Cruz tries to profit from it. I tend to think of the money lenders Christ threw out of the temple.

You really need to read the article. It was not Cruz that said those things, but a Cruz supporter in SC.

Read the article? Before commenting? Why would I do a silly thing like that?

umm....maybe because the Constitution left the term undefined?

It was probably so self-evident at the time that there was no reason to define it. It is just through the passage of time that the meaning has been so watered down that now people think a foreign-born son of a Cuban qualifies as a natural born American.

When social conservatives stay home the GOP loses, it's as simple as that.

And yet the GOP has never learned this lesson. Every election cycle they claim to support the social issues that social conservatives think are important and after they are elected nothing changes.

TRUMP is replacing the prissy stay at home crowd nearly DAILY, with new conservative voters, plenty of evangelicals of his own, Independents, moderates, younger voters and WOMEN. Never mind 20% of Democrats.

The prissy stay at home crowd are a threat to no one but themselves this cycle. No one cares. It’s a crazy cycle this time, when the purists can go butt a stump, but that’s about it.

ISIS and immigration and survival matter more than your feelings by a distance too long for words.

But, you hang right in there and warm your porch in November.

Cruz is trusting far too much on advice from Iowa.
He is putting his Senate Seat in danger.
Stop the NY bashing and the Huckster impersonation and get back on-message.

Good luck trying to win the general election without pro-life, pro-family, pro Christian values voters.

If you don't get a majority of non-social-conservative voters you will not carry 5 states.

Look, if Romney ran like Trump is now he would have been President. Not only that, Romney let the media identify him for months without hitting back... His campaign sat on money (or mishandled it) by buying local markets whereas Obama was buying less expensive national cable ads. It goes on and on.

To claim that a candidate will always lose unless they get a 'Cruz Christian value' voter belies the facts. Besides, I happen to know some 'spirit filled' people who ignore the horrors of abortion when voting - a terrible decision, but they are still forgiven.

That's funny, I thought a President represents all 50 states and all the people, regardless of beliefs?

I’ve noticed most if not all of Ted’s endorsements are from preachers and politicians. Both are capable of good things, but both live with their hands out. Preachers and politicians should have day jobs.

They didn't define "regulated" either. Yet if we go back to the semantics of the time, we know what it means.
