Weâre sad to report the death of Robert Banks Stewart, whom many Doctor Who fans will remember fondly as the creator of the Zygons.
Aside from writing two Fourth Doctor adventures â Terror of the Zygons and The Seeds of Doom â he co-created the well-remembered Shoestring (1979â80) starring Trevor Eve as a detective on the edge, and created the enormously popular Jersey-based cop show, Bergerac (1981â89). He also scripted episodes of the most iconic series of the 60s and 70s including Danger Man, The Avengers, Callan and The Sweeney and served as a producer on huge hits such as Hannay, The Darling Buds of May and Lovejoy.

How many episodes of Branded?
I am losing count. I thought it came in threes, not dozens.
I’d list Avengers higher on the list than a few Dr.Who episodes. Danger Man was titled ‘Secret Agent’ in the US, although the spinoff series ‘The Prisoner’ might be better known than the original.
I loved Bergerac and Shoestring.
RIP.
RIP.

I was thinking of "The Big Lebowski" character Arthur Digby Sellers, who "wrote 156 episodes, the bulk of the series. Not exactly a lightweight."
