Serious question here:
There are truly groupies out there for a thermostat company?
I have vaguely heard of it, yet no idea what makes it special.

I like my Nest. It works fine and my wife likes that it’s small.

And yes, I had to reset it a few days ago. First time in the two years I’ve had it.
