Unfortunately, the talented Mr Rickman wrote and staged this reprehensible play in 2005.
Yes, he wrote and directed a play about Rachel Corrie. It generated hysteria in NYC and was eventually shut down. I don’t think Rickman ever played NYC again! He was very left-wing and anti-Zionist. Sadly, a typical Brit.
It’s sad because I saw him on stage so many times and enjoyed his work - particularly back in the 80s before he became a star.
