The sad truth is that the Obama regime, with the acquiescence of Congress, has steered the US towards the path of renewable energy over fossil fuels. Subsidy and tax policy provides the cash, regulators provider the impetus. Of course market forces be damned along with the pitiful few electoral votes wielded by coal country.
