Against my advise my sister upgraded to 10. None of her drivers work for her printers. She was told by HP they did not have drivers for her 2 year old printers.

I have Windows 8.1 and have been unable to install any new printers. Thankfully I have my trusty EPSON Stylus PHOTO R380 that will print.

Your sister’s printers might work in Linux. HP printers seem to be very compatible with Linux. Since hers are two years old, someone likely has written the Linux drivers for them.

You can also look those models up for Linux compatibility:
