Actual adults care about such things. Anyone who has lived through the last few dozen GOP winners who have openly stabbed conservatives in the back would know that it takes far more than promises of being the next limited-government hero. It takes actually walking the walk as well. Only one candidate has done so to any significant degree. THAT is all YOU should care about.
