Who is defining "moral?" In the UK everything from a welfare state that punishes greater benefits as a result of merit to preachers who preach against sodomy is considered moral?

the cut flower thesis theorizes that a culture that has been nurtured with religious morals, will continue with them for a while after the country loses the religious belief. While atheism can made a good case for (what are basic Biblical) morals on the basis of their proven beneficial effect, and likewise can code software because it serves a worthy purpose, lacking any supreme objective substantive moral standard, morality is whatever seems reasonable to the atheist, and thus atheism can and does justify warring against basic Biblical morals, and create and or use instruments to do so, just as false religion has.
