Look at it this way, I would prefer that not one more Muslim come to the USA. So Trump says what I think was common sense. He expressed his opinion clearly an succinctly. Has Cruz? Did he come out with a position anywhere near what Trump did on Muslim immigration? So if Trump walks back a few baby steps, which I do not agree with him doing that, he is still WAY out in front of everyone else.
Heck yeah. You start out with an enormous figure, then work your way to what you really expected to get in the first place. Did anyone here really expect he would or could ban 100%?
Ask for 100, settle for 90. That’s how you deal. But in this case I would prefer to see him not settle for less because our security is at stake. Governor Abbott backed down on this too.
