ISIS definitely is big trouble
But lest I bust anyone’s bubble
Its power so bad
From the devil is had
Let’ all pray to God on the double
A classic DFU
Great job!
DFU limericks are back? :)
Method 1 of 2: Forming Your Limerick
Image titled Write a Limerick Step 1

Know the basic characteristics of a limerick. While there are slight variations in this style of poetry, they all fall within the same rhythmic umbrella. A true limerick has five lines; the first, second, and fifth rhyme with each other, and the third and fourth rhyme with each other. In addition to rhyme, consider: â¢Number of syllables. The first, second and fifth lines should have eight or nine syllables, while the third and fourth lines should have five or six.
â¢Meter. A limerick has a certain “rhythm” created by how the syllables are stressed. â¢Anapaestic meter - two short syllables are followed by a long (stressed) one (duh-duh-DUM, duh-duh-DUM). Here’s an example (note that the emphasis naturally falls on the italicized syllables): Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house
â¢Amphibrachic meter - a long (stressed) syllable is sandwiched between two short ones (duh-DUM-duh, duh-DUM-duh). Example: There was a young lady of Wantage
â¢Lines can begin on two, one, or occasionally no unstressed beats. Some prefer to continue the rhythm across from one line to the next, especially when a sentence carries across lines, but this is not essential.
Thank God it’s Obama’s last year.
We can’t stand his tone or his sneer.
The US will choose
A Trump or a Cruz
And send Bammy out on his rear!
Your Doctor you keep if you like,
See your premiums take a big hike
you go in with a grin
for an operation
you wake up and it’s the Third Reich.

Those who follow the old prophet Mo
Bring chaos where ever they go
“Allah Akbar” they cry,
as they race in to die
About time that we make Mecca glow.
