IMHO, what's going to hurt Apple the most is that they are becoming the status quo, and are losing the image of being the innovative upstart that propelled them previously. Now there are videos on the internet making fun of the fact that they change the configuration of their power cords pretty much with every generation of computer, and have also done this with video ports etc. - so that people can't use their old stuff. They are no longer ‘fresh and new’, but are just another company slugging it out with their competitors to get your money. They will do just fine, but the times during which people would sleep outside stores to be the first to get a newly released Apple product are likely over.
