I read NRO almost every day, but I very rarely check the comments. I’m a great admirer of David French, and I’ve liked Jonah Goldberg since we were both college students.

The attack at NRO has tapered off a bit, but it's still going on. This is more than the typical handful of liberal trolls posting comments - it is organized, and it was happening on every thread that I checked (about half a dozen).

Much of it takes the form of a leftist's idea of what a typical conservative thinks, e.g., much is faux pro-Nazi idiocy, anti-Semitic stuff, faux anti-Gentile stuff from faux Jews, faux white-supremacist stuff, and just plain-old obscenity. Some was aggressively pro-Muslim, probably coming from someone who is NOT a Muslim.
