I just came from the National Review Online website, and it seems to be under an unprecedented attack from trolls, who are flooding threads with obscene, hostile, and extreme content. The trolling comments are so pervasive that they would overwhelm the efforts of moderators to control them. This seems organized, and it is extremely disturbing even if you think NRO represents "pantywaist" conservatism. FR could be the next target for this sort of attack. The comments are so bizarre and often self-contradictory that they have - dare I say? - a demonic tone.
There is something almost gay about the Trump love fest that I see here. Something almost Nazi-like. An irrational cult-like atmosphere.
Promise?
Yeah.
By the way, the attack on NRO has ramped up again. It is insane, and all the Trump butt-boys love it.
I didn’t aim it at you. I aimed it at the public “intellectuals” of NR. If I intended to throw mud at private individuals I’d have sunk to your level.
I saw some comments about it: the regular readers/posters there are discussing it.
I wish one could say, “I don’t like Candidate X because of (this),” without people’s going into a fuss ... but it’s the silly season.
