    I am currently using safari
this niacin is a few months old...I had been using chrome almost exclusively
Safari It had the password for one site I’d never visited Using safari....just a couple of hours ago. It did not have the password for the important [ to me] Photographic site I post on.
Im not partial to chrome. Right now just want to cure its appearance n the Force Quit applications window...and reclaim a few passwords

It appears to be a bug in some versions of Chrome. Can you post the version you are running?

There’s an excellent utility package called Onyx that does a whole lot of system housecleaning. Very stable & pretty user friendly. I’d strongly recommend it. Even if it doesn’t solve your problem, I know it helps my Mac stay regular.

Open a terminal and type in “ps -ef | grep -i chrome” and post the results.

On your desktop there is a little magnifying glass in the upper right corner. Click on it and type terminal. You should see terminal icon, click on it.

It s saying the “|” is illegal. that makes no sense. you must be typing it wrong. Type it exactly like I showed you.

I bet it’s version .44, which has this particular problem. Apparently, if you download .43 and install it, it will fix the problem, provided you disable auto-updates for Chrome.
