I noticed one weird thing that happened to my computer when I upgraded from Win 7 to Win 10. Pissed me off, too.

It changed my password to my Microsoft Store (?) account’s password.

It did this when I downloaded a couple of programs from Microsoft’s website that were formerly packaged with Windows 7 (and XP before that, IIRC). Why Microsoft decided to remove those formerly free, included-in-the-OS-and-somewhat-useful programs is beyond me.

#1 - Do you offhand know how to get my password back, but different than the Microsoft Store password? Of course I can Google it, but since you seem to be an expert in Win 10, I was hoping you’d save me some search time.

#2 - Do you know why Microsoft removed the programs they did? I’m assuming they did so in version 8 as well, but I don’t have access to that to verify it.

It defaults to the MS store account as opposed to the local account log-in with 7. This is how to switch it back.

Which ones did they remove? You mean solitaire?
