The people that “bitch and moan” are the ones that constantly, whenever their is ANY post about Microsoft or Windows, post the same erroneous cliched nonsense that quickly makes virtually all topics on this subject just tech illiterate people screaming bloody murder about things they have no clue about, but are confident enough to say Microsoft did it to them, or the same 3 Linux dudes that show up to hawk Linux Mint.
Why dont you pose that question to them? Frankly most of the time I skip the stories because there is rarely much of substance in the comments.

Even the very premise of the story posted is fictitious as Windows 10 isnt “forcing itself onto PCs”, as even the article itself had to weasel-word itself into admitting.

Because I’m trying to figure out your motivation.
You seem to take every opportunity to sling insults around in threads about Windows 10, even to people who use it and are not Linux fanboys.

Wanna bet a large number of people had their computes upgrade after that prompt? Read the comments to hear of people’s horror stories. At least MS is giving hundreds of hours of Windows 10 undo tech work to your local dealers.
