Clearly the writer needs his own “safe space” if he define’s what Trump said as an “attack”.
Cruz is basically tied or leading in Iowa polls and is rapidly consolidating support among Iowa’s conservative elite.
That is a negative on Cruz in my book and not a plus.
Trump should focus more on Hillary and the Dems. Let the chips where they may with Ted. Iowa is not as important as the media whoops it up to be. It’s a blue state anyway.
I don’t consider it a “Trump attack”. Trump merely chummed the water a bit. ;-)
It looks like Cruz certainly has good support among people aged 55 and older.

It’s rarely about the supporters. It’s the indifferent and undecided politicians fight over.

Well, I am a Cruz supporter and I am not fooled into thinking that Trump’s answer of Joe Scarborough’s question constitutes an “attack.”
The brouhaha does show that the left seeks to divide the voters who seek to secure our borders and that a lot more Cruz supporters than I thought are both extremely gullible and egotistical to the point that they can not admit they were mislead even when shown the video of the interview.
As long as they vote for Cruz in the primary I will only occasionally make fun of their gullibility.
Some of these people are going to become unhinged trying to figure out new angles to show that Trump will not, can not win, I mean, more than they already are.
