Norman Pastor Tells KFAQ he Will Run Against Cole By David Prock.
CREATED 10:21 AM
NORMAN, Okla. (KFAQ staff) -
It was the final straw for Dr. James Taylor, the pastor of Christ Church of Norman, after he heard Congressman Tom Cole of District 4 voted for the OMNIBUS spending bill that allows for such things as fully funding Planned Parenthood, and he has decided to do something about it.
He announced on KFAQâs Pat Campbell Show on Thursday morning that he will indeed run against Cole in the next election.
"It came to a head right before Christmas when every one of these guys (Oklahoma congressmen) except Jim Bridenstine voted to pass the OMNIBUS," said Dr. Taylor, who authored a book called It's Biblical, Not Political.
"All of these guys campaigned on repealing Obamacare. But the spending bill they voted for fully funds it. It fully funds sanctuary cities. It fully funds the refugee program. It fully funds the Middle Eastern immigrants coming in. It fully funds tax credits for illegals living here. It fully funds Planned Parenthood. It increased spending $66 billion over what it is now.
"It's just frustrating. They tell us one thing and then do another."
Dr. Taylor told KFAQ why he thinks he can defeat Cole and his money machine in an election.
"I serve a very enormous God; I've prayed about this for five years now," he said. "And He likes to specialize in taking the impossible and making it possible. It doesn't matter the money...if God wants me to run and win and I believe He does, it doesn't matter what Tom Cole does. He can't stop it."
I hope a great candidate steps up and runs against Ryan.
Good.
Any candidate who can beat that big jerk is a good candidate.
Along with about 90% of the OK Reps....
Spit!!@
We shall see.........
And he shall have my vote
