It seems to me that natural born means both parents are citizens of the us. This was clearly explained by some of the framers of the Constitution.

If that’s what they wanted, they would have put it in the Constitution. But they didn’t.

There are only two kinds of citizens - naturalized and natural-born. Cruz was never naturalized, because he didn’t need to be. He was a citizen from birth.

Trump must be feeling the heat, if this nonsense is coming back up again.
