Steely Dan's Donald Fagen was arrested Monday evening after allegedly assaulting his wife inside their NYC home.
According to the criminal complaint 67-year-old Fagen pushed his wife, Libby Titus, into a marble window frame in their Upper East Side pad. Cops say she suffered bruising and swelling to her right arm.
Fagen was arrested and charged with one count of misdemeanor assault and cited for harassment. He's also been ordered to stay away from Titus, who told the NY Post she's divorcing Fagen.
The Rock Hall of Famer was released without bail.

Can’t Buy a Thrill. I don know how many copies I ‘ve worn out.
Sorry to hear about this, hopefully Donald and his soon-to-be-ex get things worked out, and hopefully there’s no truth to her accusation. The man is a music legend - I just picked up a sealed Robert Ludwig-mastered pressing of Gaucho a few weeks ago, can’t wait to listen to it on vinyl again.
Well, the comments at link are humorous....mostly SD song lines, etc.
Rikki, don’t lose my lawyer’s number!
“Got a case of dynamite. I can hold out here all night...”
He’s been one of my heroes for about 40 years. SMH.
He should have been arrested much earlier for the crime of making lame, yacht-rock crap.
That made me LOL! Very good!
That's why I like it.
He told her not to lose that number.
He will be reelin in the years in prison.
>> yacht-rock
Never heard that term. Got an example, album, song?
Maybe he just got the goodbye look.
One commenter asked: “So she got beat up by Stephen Hawking?”
“She said oh no, Guadalajara won’t do, amd I’m never going back to my old school....”
She asked him to stop farting in bed, and he replied, “In all the time I’ve known you I still don”t know what you mean.”
Then the dirty work started.
It's a very nice description of some Steely Dan material.
With your permission Bruce's Chin, I would suggest "Glamour Profession" from Gaucho as an example of Yacht Rock.
Probably a little too much Cuervo Gold, and/or the fine Colombian! ;)
LOLOLOL! Stop it! I'm laughing through my tears.
