Rush still uses Fresh Air as bumper music.

“formed in 1965 in San Francisco”

Wow, if “Happy Trails” was just their 2nd album and they’d already been around for 4 years, they must’ve been playing a ton of live shows during that time.

I loved that album when I owned it for the 8-Track in my car. Went to a few of their concerts too. Dino Valenti was a great performer, but I preferred their earlier stuff, and still play Words Can't Say from Shady Grove. John Cipollina, Nicky Hopkins...yea, I liked their work in Terry & The Pirates too. Cipollina was an enthusiastic gun collector by the way.

A guy who went home from Vietnam sent this album back to us relative short-timers. I love it to this day. Have a CD in the car.

Thanks for reminding me of Shady Grove. IIRC, that is the album with a mostly green cover with a chick in old time clothes sitting under a tree? Have it in my stash of vinyl that needs the turntable set up somewhere if I ever figure out where.
