From http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/page/32for32x160106/grading-every-nfl-team-regular-season here are their grades on the NFL Teams of our regulars:

Gadzooks, big-- Both your teams are in the playoffs:

But I don't foresee a Pats/Pack Super Bowl this year.

My Old Dallas Texans--

They are on a hot streak and I've got my fingers crossed for them.

Clet, your Loinchops--

Imp, your Bears--

Seven, your Waiders--

Or should we say your Los Angeles Gangbangers?

Allegra's Texicans--

Sorry, Allegra, where ever you are, even JJ cannot get these guys over the top.

and Allegra Old Earlers--

Bud Adams is still in hell.

While I am ticked pink over the Iggles fall--

AND I have to admit, My Boys had a crappy... crappy season--

And I have some plans... to get a jump on next season--

But good luck to all the teams in the playoffs... except the Deadskins--

And would you expect... otherwise?

But I don't foresee a Pats/Pack Super Bowl this year.

The Pack may well squeak by the Redskins this weekend - or not, Kirk Cousins may surprise again - but I can't see them beating either Arizona or Carolina or even Seattle (despite the fact that they beat the Seahawks earlier in the season). Problems on the O Line and a depleted receiving corps translates to big problems for Aaron Rodgers. I don't care if you're Johnny U, you can't complete passes when you're on your back.

The playoffs already?! Wow! Somehow managed to make it to the semifinals in my fantasy league so the season wasn't a total disaster despite the Ravens' record. So.... on to the post season!

NFL WILDCARD WEEKEND

Saturday January 9th AFC

No. 5 Kansas City Chiefs at No. 4 Houston Texans 4:35 p.m. ABC & ESPN Chiefs have won ten in a row, led by a staunch defense and steady - emphasis, STEADY - play from Alex Smith. That should be enough against the Texans, who don't have the offensive tools to stay with KC. JJ Watt will have a great game but he can't do it all by himself. Brian Hoyer is not the long-term answer. Can the Texans please get a good QB? CHIEFS!

No. 6 Pittsburgh Steelers at No. 3 Cincinnati Bengals, Saturday 8:15 p.m. CBS Will the Bengals break their playoff winless streak? I'd like their chances a lot more if Andy Daulton were playing... Although the Steelers stumbled down the stretch against the Ravens, and didn't look like world-beaters against the Browns either, they're in the playoffs thanks to a Jets choke against the mighty Bills. Tomlin, Roethlisberger, that great receiver..... I dunno, just can't pick against them. Sorry Marv! STEELERS!

Sunday January 10th NFL

No. 6 Seattle Seahawks at No. 3 Minnesota Vikings, Sunday 1 p.m. NBC Am I wrong to see this one as a laugher? Kudos to the Vikings for winning the division and qualifying for the post-season. Teddy Bridgewater is an up-and-comer. Unfortunately, they're facing a highly experienced post-season team in the Seahawks, and Russell Wilson is playing the best football of his career - witness the dismantling of the Cardinals last week. The Seahags cruise to victory. SEAHAWKS.

No. 5 Green Bay Packers at No. 4 Washington Redskins, Sunday 4:40 p.m. NBC The Redskins are in the playoffs? The Redskins won the NFC East?! The Redskins have a home playoff game? Yes, yes, and yes! A great job by the Burgundy and Gold this year and.... they get the weakest Packers team in years as a reward. Improbably, the Redskins win. REDSKINS!

COLLEGE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

Monday January 11th

Alabama vs. Clemson 8:30 p.m. ESPN My head says 'how can anyone score against this Alabama D?' My heart says Go Dabo! Go Clemson! Go ACC! Beat the Evil Crimson Empire and Darth Saban. CLEMSON!

To score against Bama you gotta take shots downfield.

3rd and long. Take a shot. Just throw it up. Preferably into single coverage. Doesn’t matter if you think your guy is open or not. Throw it! Michigan State didn’t do it one time.

Last year we were terrible defending the long pass. This year much better. But you are not gonna drive the field or throw a little screen or slant and get a 1st down on 3rd and long. Might as well chunk it deep.

Roll Tide!!

Breaking news it pretty obvious Say hello to LA Raiders, Rams, and Chargersss

Three teams in LA sharing the same facility? That will be interesting! (A facility yet to be built, BTW).

:: Jim Caldwell’s job will be decided by the new General Maznager ::

I’m available! Maybe I should shoot my resume over to Maggie?

My planner, day-one will read: 0700 - Fire Jim Caldwell
0800-> 1700 - Look to trade a bulk of the franchise assets for Tom Brady and hire Belicheck in the same deal.

Am I missing something here? Previous 2 NFL teams left LA because of tepid fan and community support, and now there may be 2 again?

Gadzooks, Cat-- All three left LA once before... and now they come back hat in one hand, the other palm outstretched for mega-tax breaks to play there.

The Rams... I don’t even remember why they left. I think it was because they wanted either major improvements to Anaheim Stadium or a new stadium altogether. St Louis came along with a better offer and Georgia Frontiere fled. They always had very strong fan support. Don’t forget, they originally moved to LA from Chicago.

The Raiders ... Davis wanted a new stadium too. They drew well at The Colisseum, but didn’t fill it since it has such a large capacity. And it had no luxury boxes. It was built for the 1932 Olympics after all. Not exactly a state-of-the-art facility. And were still sharing with USC ...

Now with the promise of a new facility, and a metro area population of ...fifteen million? With no competition closer than the Bay Area or Phoenix.... These teams are seeing riches. Greener grass and all that.

Little known fact: Cincinnatians abbreviate Cincinnati as Cinti, not Cincy.
