Nearly 30 percent of white NFL players are kickers, punters, or quarterbacks, all positions that have a much lower chance of being involved in concussion-causing collisions. The other 70% are involved in concussion-causing collisions.

Most of the concussions I hear about are QBs. Then again, I'm a Rams fan, and even when we were good, Coach Martz' strategy was to build up skill positions, to blazes with the O-Line, and who cares if MVP QB Kurt Warner gets clobbered as long as he released the ball? More recently Rams QB Case Keenum was left in to play at the game's end even as he staggered to the huddle with an obvious concussion. QB is the only position that has to mostly stand there while half a dozen 300 pound men who run fast are programmed to kill him.
