This from the bastion of self-control from posting all things anti-Trump?

But Trump has the most crossover appeal. And even better, Trump is not indebted to any rich donors.

Yep to your first point. Save one holdout for Carson, all my conservative acquaintances are now talking Trump. There is zero discussion about Cruz. And all my liberal acquaintances are talking either Trump or Sanders.

No misprint in the above. I've got liberal acquaintances who are supporting Trump. Some folks think that's part of some leftist conspiracy. Nope. My lib acquaintances are blue-collar JFK democrats. Those who support Trump do so because he speaks their language, and makes sense to them.

And yep to your second point also (the donor comment). That's so clear no comment on my part is needed.

Trump/Cruz
Trump/West

Either works for me.

If Trump or Cruz aren’t on the ticket and depending who’s the GOP candidate I might not vote. I’m out of clothes pins for holding my nose when I vote and I figure living in Mass, my GOP vote probably doesn’t count or matter anyway. I just vote as a matter of exercising my freedom. Then again maybe rather then not voting, I would write in Trump/Cruz that way the GOP would see they lost a vote.

"Dude, that needs to be a T-Shirt."

Totally agree.

There are some extremely cool Sabo items on the Cruz website...I like the "Blacklisted and Loving It" tee.

If Bush is on the ticket, for the first time since 1972, I will not vote. If it is Trump/Bush, I will have to drown a fifth of whiskey to drag my butt to vote.

I’d be fine with Trump/Cruz. I think it would be a strong partnership. Just don’t think that Cruz is ready for the lead position and I have a couple of reservations about him.

Really? Not me. I just think that Trump is the best one...the one we need now.

Cruz will be fine as Trump’s apprentice for four years. Then it’s his turn in the corner office.

Most Cruz people I know would be fine with Trump, but prefer Cruz. I think they’re the second choice candidates of most of each other’s supporters.

Most likely.

At first, they’ll let the Establishment weenies do it. But what if that doesn’t take down Cruz?

I'm definitely in the second category. And, if Cruz somehow wins the nomination, he will have Trump to thank for making him appear moderate.

We do NOT need to deport every illegal. Simply start with the gang bangers and work down through the wards of the state. Once most of those are gone, the rest get the idea and self-deport.

But I do not object to Trump saying that they all have to go. That's what the law says and is the logical beginning point for negotiations.

Meanwhile, both Trump and Cruz agree that the first step is to turn off the damn spigot.

If Ted Cruz is the nominee there will be no debates with Hillary. You heard it here first.
