I didn’t say that. But he does have a greater level of responsibility to accept risk than the regular citizen. You seem to be a cop, so what would you do to me if I shot and killed someone who was merely walking towards me with something shiny in my hand and I had a car door in between me and him?

Your posts just keep telling everyone that we all have no clue and we aren’t good enough to be a cop. You sound like an idiot with that kind of talk. Everyone here is trained to do something. Some of us have dangerous jobs and some have had them in the past. My brother is a cop and retired just yesterday after 29 years, so I know that I could have been one...if I had chosen to be a pretentious thug with delusions of grandeur and a sense of importance that makes me think that I am more worthy than everyone else. I’m not saying that he is like that, but you sure are.

If I had a C&C and shot someone who I thought was attacking me on the street and it was found he only had a pen would I get off with a "I was afraid for my life" statement?
