ANY information that has been in any way available in the public domain can never be later classified, period! I want anyone to explain to me how in the world anything transmitted over open and monitor-able means can later have any reliance on being capable of kept secret?

If it is not classified at the time it is either spoken to, answered to, communicated to in any unsecured environment, it is unclassified, period. This stupidity is akin to trying to put the toothpaste back in the tube.
