Hospital staff even notified an organ donation organization that George's organs would be imminently available. “They were moving too fast. The hospital, the nurses, the doctors,â€
There was money to be made. Taking organs from a living body is much more profitable than waiting for actual death. It is illegal to formally sell them but handling costs vary enormously with usefulness.
