Dave Henderson, who spent parts of 14 seasons as a major-league outfielder and authored one of the most famous postseason home runs in history, has died at the age of 57. MLB announced his passing on Sunday.

Regarding “stealing bases” - you sure you’re not thinking of Ricky Henderson?
That is a very young age to die. However he seems to have been in poor health. The obits say that he had a kidney transplant just a month ago.

Stealing bases? Just checked and Dave only had 50 in his 14 years in the majors. You must be thinking about Ricky Henderson?
