Get that phony LBJ picture down

Actually, perhaps unfortunately, the photo of LBJ as a naval officer is accurate. After the military draft began in 1940 he received a commission as a naval reserve officer, Lt. Cmdr. He went to the South Pacific on a ‘research tour’ and got a medal for flying as a passenger on a B-26 Martin Marauder medium bomber during a bombing mission. Shortly afterward, FDR recalled all of these ‘wartime commissioned congressman’ from ‘the field’ back to do their ‘jobs’ as congressmen.
