Then, with whatever his next problem is he can go directly to the Supported Device listing and go from there. If it is supported, no worries. If not, then he has no further need to keep starting threads concerning his personal problems because he will already know that his device is not supported and there's the end of it.
I believe there is also a PC Anonymous -type of forum (like Alcoholics Anonymous) for the macusers where he can go to get further support, instead of whinging incessantly on this forum about whatever he is next confused about.
People like him are why such things as Support Service Contracts exist in the first place. FreeRepublic was not created to be anyone's unpaid Computing and Devices support staff. I am certain there is at least one professional service nearby he can pay to solve his continual computer problems.
You know Utilizer, you’re onto something. I didn’t really consider the enablement factor and I think it is time to stop. I too am not an Apple user, but believe your recommendation is right on the mark.

I think that's a little harsh. Just because someone is a "professional" (i.e. does it for money) doesn't make their advice correct or valuable. And many times in my experience IT "professionals" have hosed up my equipment - for a fat fee.
I for one was interested in the OP's problem and FReepers' replies.
No FR is not a PC support group, you're right about that.
