I don't know about other Freepers but I've long been suspicious of the liberal's claims to support this movement. I've always assumed that liberals are generally at best ambivalent about the movement, and most liberals probably secretly hate it. Not only do I think that your average Democrat does not support BLM, I don't think that the Democratic presidential candidates or news anchors actually like BLM either. If anything the Democratic presidential candidates might hate BLM more than anybody because they're rudely interrupting half of the Democratic presidential rallies. (If anybody else acted the way BLM does at presidential rallies, they'd at least be lead by the police out of the rally with a warning that next time means arrest, and they probably wouldn't be even given a second chance and would just be shipped off to the county graybar hotel.) I actually asked this question on Yahoo Answers, and of course all the liberals claimed to be in support of the movement.
Perhaps accurate polling of the Libs in the areas of the Mall of America and the airport nearby, as well as those of Chicago would reveal that regular citizens really don’t like the BLM jerks. They block streets, interrupt Christmas shopping and block entrances to the MNSP airport when people are trying to catch their flights.
I go with #2
I think they calculate that if they can line up the perpetually aggrieved unassimilated blacks as voters (against an increasingly apathetic white citizenry) then they may come out on top at the ballot box. Their media spreads discontent among normal white voters (straight taxpayers), while constantly inflaming their core (unassimilated minorities, sexual deviants, and government employees).
Then why did Wasserman Schultz try to create a Democratic debate about BLM? That debate was supposed to occur about 3 weeks ago, although somehow it never ended up happening. (Probably because the 3 Dem candidates made some behind the scenes moves to prevent the debate from occurring.)
