That is complete BS! As a former Army officer I can tell you, the last thing a soldier wants is taking a shower with a gay guy who is attracted to him! We will see sexual harassment claims skyrocket in the Military because of these policies. Of course it will be suppressed. Ever wonder why the military never allowed husband and wife to be in the same unit? Soldiers do not have the same focus on training and/or a mission when their lover is in the same unit. That is how you get people killed!
Around 1995, we had an incident. I got to the barracks in the morning and there was police tape across a door. Apparently a soldier had started ‘horsing around’ with another soldier...and the grab ass turned to grab private parts. A very violent fight ensued.
Yep, it turns out that soldiers really don’t like being ogled by their buddies.
