There was a story about a president who actually had an official investigation done on a house In the south somewhere that was haunted by what people said was a witch (Of course it was evil spirits, not a ghost- but people like to say deceased people haunt buildings-)- The investigation scared the boogers out of the investigators- I’ll see if I can find link

The new buyers should request the skeleton in the basement be removed and given a proper Christian burial. Then have the house spiritually cleansed and finally have a priest bless it. Of course, after all that, the price would have to be reduced because it wouldn’t be haunted.
