Ford claims that Lucas didn’t want to kill Han off in Empire (i.e., carbonite scene) because there was not market in “Dead Han toys.” :-D Well, that makes sense! And I’m glad they didn’t kill the character off, for whatever reason. Although, you can really see how disgusted Ford was with what they did to his character in ROTJ — he just wasn’t acting like the Han we’d come to know in the first two. Only one scene occurs to me where Han was Han...”Hey...it’s me!”
