Cruz Should Prevail

After the last debate, Sen. Ted Cruz hit the nail on the head after turning in the best debate performance: Americans must unify, fight our enemies to win, and solve problems at home, or face unspeakable devastation. That is the brutal truth staring us right in the face.

That truth demands an answer to a straightforward question: Which candidate is a true statesman, able to unify this country?

A huge part of the answer to that question involves selecting the person most capable of articulating an inspiring message that most people can eventually support.

Other considerations involved: which candidate has the education, intelligence, experience, stamina, consistency, character, integrity, and leadership talent required to carry that message and unify the country?

Historically, in times of greatest crisis, inspiring, unifying leaders have appeared: think Washington, Lincoln, FDR, JFK, Reagan. The current administration has delivered unprecedented crises. No matter where you look, America is in decline, primarily because leadership is morally and intellectually bankrupt, having forsaken our Founding principles.

So which candidate is most aligned with our Founding principles? Which one is most like Reagan or Washington or Lincoln or JFK? Which person cherishes liberty in a way that inspires a majority? Which candidate stands on principle before party, patriotism before partisanship? Which one is tough enough to see it through, smart enough to adapt when necessary, and who can most effectively debate and defeat Hillary Clinton?

Which candidate is most feared by Communists and Jihadis alike? Which one will restore liberty and justice for all? Which candidate can fire up the Hispanic and evangelical vote like no other? And which individual shows both appropriate restraint, and genuine concern for the public good? Which candidate is the selfless public servant most trusted to keep promises? Which one has the best plan to achieve economic revitalization?

Ted Cruz is far and away the most intelligent, the most educated, the most articulate and the most closely aligned with the Founders' vision. He has demonstrated integrity and consistency even in the face of the most vicious attacks from all sides. No adversary can cross rhetorical swords with him and prevail, and no enemy, foreign or domestic, will find sanctuary with Cruz in the White House.

Don't take our word for it. Consider the words of leading Democrats, Alan Dershowitz and James Carville. Dershowitz was Cruz's law professor. Carville ran Bill Clinton's campaigns. Dershowitz calls him “off-the-charts brilliant." Carville describes Cruz as "the most talented and fearless Republican politician I've seen in the last 30 years."

After the huge groundswell of support in Iowa, Cruz now enjoys increased support, politically and financially. His list of endorsements, already impressive, is growing as well. Recently, the following came out to support him: Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council, James Dobson, and Richard Viguerie, a conservative leader who shares this word about Cruz vs. Trump: "Cruz is the only candidate who can unite the GOP."

It is clear which candidate stands as the individual most likely to succeed as the nominee, and as President.

Cruz=loose

http://www.elearnenglishlanguage.com/blog/english-mistakes/loose-vs-lose/

Loose vs Lose
The words loose and lose are mixed up in writing; for some reason, many people write loose when they really mean lose. But there's no reason to lose your mind worrying about this, just lose the extra o!

Loose

Loose is an adjective, the opposite of tight or contained.

My shoes are loose

I have a loose tooth

There's a dog running loose in the street

Lose

Lose is a verb that means to suffer the loss of, to miss.

I win! You lose!

Don't lose your keys

I never lose bets

It looks stupid when you use it wrong.

I am a Cruz guy.
But I would be happy to go for Trump in the general if that is what we get.
If neither is on the ballot I won’t vote/go for the libertarian choice.
The GOPe is dead to me.

They’re getting nervous...REALLY nervous. And I think it’s only the beginning.

Aside from Cruz’s rise, they might be beginning to realize that Trump’s poll numbers don’t necessarily translate into votes, that he’s dropping the ball when it comes to the hard work involved in the ground game, and that the numbers present at his rallies probably involve a lot of people who just want to see the show.

Hand Cruz the nomination because reasons?

This isn’t affirmative action. Get out there and win it.

“LOL, Trump’s phlegmtones appear right on que.”

Yeas how dare anyone actually find the daily pronouncements of the omnipotence of Cruz to a bit absurd in light of reality.

Is this the strategy that you guys would use against the Democrats?

The candidate will unite the nation is the one who will rebuild the armed forces and stay out of wars when we are not attacked. That let’s out all the GOP and all the Democrats so I’ll do a write-in if I find one. Maybe Buchanan if he is still alive.

That’s as stupid as saying that people show up to Cruz rallies because their pastor told them that Jesus will hate them I they dont.

What strategy??? I was just commenting on how I find your behavior amusing.

Now you want strategy....how about looking at the FACTS:

Trumps support of Kelo, Single payer health care, Ethanol subsidies, Planned Parenthood, confiscatory taxes on the rich, opposition of Medicare/Social Security reform and multiple donations to Democrat campaigns/causes over the years is documented.

Trump was praising Romney for his gentle approach to illegal immigrants and badmouthing Republicans for being “mean spirited” in their approach to illegal immigrants a scant 3 years ago.

This mans past belies a candidate a good deal different than what people are willing to believe of him today

Trumps rhetoric today is quite at odds with his hostorical positions...this would lead most fair minded people to conclude that he is nothing more than a skillfull opportinist looking to enhance his already substantial wealth and power.

Better not mock Ted's Christianity...after all, Trump got up on stage and waved a Bible around.

No critical thinking class likes crass so Trump trumpets.

Reminds me of a silver flute and a pack of rats.

The question that should be asked to Cruz is: 'What is your position on the proposed (by your wife) North American Union'...That will tell us where Cruz is on the New World Order...

Okay, I'll raise your level of information.

Cruz long ago answered that question several times.

He called the CFR a "a pit of vipers" and a pernicious nest of snakes" that is "working to undermine our sovereignty".

Just mocking the desperate attempt to equate any support trump has to being just gawkers or rubes while obviously 10000000% of Cruz supporters are genuine people of greatness that are far more thoughtful than that trash that are at a Trump rally. Hell I doubt they even can read a ballot!

By Jan I expect to see some of the Cruz people will start to wearing white robes and angel wings because they are just that incredible!

Trump is the media silly, the media has picked all the GOP candidates for years. You want to see who the media truely hates? Look for who they shun not who they trumpet.

Sheesh you can fool some people all of the time!

Outside of Jesusland (with about 85 electoral votes), those guys are poison.

Cruz has evangelical, tea party and libertarian support.

Ok, I’ll add my 2 cents.
Unless and until our country understands the relationship between morality and the ability of a candidate (whether that be Trump or Cruz) to not be corrupted, we really don’t have much of a chance to turn things around. We have lost representative government because corruption is so rampant. There are always going to be more immoral people than moral, but in the past our side would still win occasionally even though we had a minority. Today, our minority is a lot smaller and most folks moral ideas are not based on anything eternal - just the shifting sands of popular, fickle culture.

I see Cruz as more principled and constitutionally based (and he’s my guy, though I’d vote for Trump) but you have to say that Trump is popular far and away because he is seen as the more “cigar smok’in, kick butt and take names” kind of guy. Honesty, people want revenge, they want the “give into your anger Luke - you know you want this light saber” due to their frustration. I get that - but in the long run that might not turn things around the way we might hope. I actually wish we could turn Trump loose and then have Cruz come in afterwards to do all the policy stuff, get a few Supreme Court picks, and return us to more representative government - if that’s even possible at this point. True wisdom and understanding come only from God. How many people in America today really want what God is offering? That’s why we’re in the mess we’re in. It’s give me my stuff NOW! Neither Trump or Cruz will “fix” America without national repentance. We may get a “pause” from the head long rush to destruction, but that’s all we may get - if even we get that. Hillary and the Dems will stop at nothing and will do anything - vote cheating, murder or marshal law (or all of the above) - to achieve their ends. Add in 20 to 30 million “new” citizens from third world countries and the middle east and it just gets better. As you can tell, I’m not very optimistic about our future.

.
Can you point us to one conservative person in a responsible position of national significance that has supported or praised Trump?

Definitely not holding my breath.
