The odd thing is, when I took an Election test the other day matching up my preferences with the candidates, Cruz got a 93%, whereas Trump was at the very bottom of the Republicans (55%) pretty near Democrat Jim Webb.
Others have pointed out that Trump was a liberal his whole life until he began running for this campaign, and his positions still reflect that in many cases. It’s bewildering how many people have been suckered by him. Then again, it’s a safe bet most of them voted Bush in 2000.

In order to get business done, Trump had to get along with the local politicians, who were all Democrats. He may have not liked it,but had to be pragmatic.
