Anyone know if those headlights were electric or pneumatic?
They were pnuematic on both the Daytonas and Superbirds. I had a 68 Charger that had vacuum covers. They were operated by a sliding valve with a lever attached to the headlight switch behind the dash. It was common for the lever on the valve to break so I bolted it under the dash to work them manually.

I guess it was probably similar to the early Cougars.
