Years ago, I met some fellow scientists in Regina, Saskatchewan, who were obviously not from there.
Brilliant fellows, really, but it took a while to get an ear for what they were saying.
Unfortunately, that and cultural differences hampered their presentation of a paper on horizontal drilling. (Never, when discussing horizontal drilling, name a variable Ky. That dual entendre was lost on those guys, but not on the audience.)
